Veggie Alfredo Pizza

I made a delicious Veggie Alfredo pizza Friday night.  This is a great way to use up any leftover produce!

Ingredients:

Pizza dough (I used store bought)

1 cup Alfredo Sauce ( I used Simple Truth brand)

1/2 packet Ranch seasoning

Vegetables ( I used broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and red pepper)

1 and a half cup Cheddar cheese

Directions:

Roll out your pizza dough.  I like to use a cookie sheet for a rectangle pizza.

Mix alfredo sauce and ranch packet.  Spread evenly over dough.

Finely chop all of your vegetables.  Steam them to par-cook.

Spread veggies on top of alfredo sauce layer.

Top with cheddar cheese.

Bake at 450 for 20 minutes.

So good!

May Happenings

Our youngest is fearless, she truly believes she 4 years old like her sister.  But I think she bit off more than she could chew when she took on the big slide at Outslide In.
--
We spent Tuesday out at the PGA practice round on Kiawah.  It was a gorgeous day and such a great break in the routine.
--
Back to the Splash Pad!!  So incredibly happy to see JICP opened it back up.

My girls:

They don't particularly love having their photo taken.  I have developed a tactic for when I think they are looking especially cute and I want a pic.  I go to the front door, open it, stand at the threshold and call their names.  Typically they come running and I am able to get a few cute shots.  Plus, the lighting is great!
Finished this one last week and enjoyed it.  Need some new recommendations!
I am in SUCH a cooking rut right now.  Someone tell me what's for dinner!
Have a great weekend....we joined a pool this Summer and it is officially OPEN.
You know where I'll be...

Lately

We have had a revolving door with some house projects these past few weeks, so I feel like I have been all over the place!

I hope y'all had a nice Mothers Day.  We had my parents over on Saturday for Publix fried chicken.

And on Sunday we went to church and then had burgers on the grill.  Being a mom is definitely the best thing I've ever done, and I'm immeasurably grateful for this gift.
--
I took the girls strawberry picking a couple weeks ago.  They had so much fun taste-testing.
--
 Beach girls, just like mom!
--
I've been checking in on this nest in our azalea hedge for a while now...still not hatched!
--
New (to me) light fixture in our dining room. Swoon!
My last "house goal" (for now) is to get the front porch lime-washed before EB gets out for Summer Break...which is basically in 2 weeks...
Gotta go!

DIY Suncatchers

So much going on over here lately, but for now I wanted to quickly share the DIY Suncatchers that EB and I gave as gifts to the grandmothers this Mothers Day.

So first off, I found this kit at Amazing Bins for $2.  I'm not a fan of the farm animals, but I knew I could use the supplies.  I can't find the exact kit online, but what you need is acrylic ovals (or whatever shape you want your suncatcher to be) , black puff paint, and glass paint in the colors you want to use.
Like I said, I didn't want to use the farm animal stencils, but I thought a school of fish would look nice.  I just google searched "Fish Suncatcher" and found one that inspired me.  I then used the black puff paint to make an outline.
EB helped me paint.
They turned out so pretty!
It was a fun and simple project that brightens up a window!
Hope y'all had a great Mothers Day!
I'll catch up soon.
