We had a fun filled Spring Break this year. Having a child in "real school" made me appreciate this break more than the previous preschool breaks. It was nice to have slow mornings and less structured days. We had a fun week together.
Lots of sprinkler + popsicles in the back yard.

Neighborhood walks to the marsh.

Ok, this is a fun/complicated story. We were supposed to foster 2 baby chicks for the week but just a few days in things were not going well health-wise for the chicks, so we returned to the farm. Ultimately the girls were ok with the whole thing but it was definitely not the full experience we were hoping for.

Bee City! I don't particularly like Bee City, it's always hot and crowded BUT they have invested some money into the place over the last year and the new giraffe overlook is really nice.

Strawberry picking!

East Bay Deli Kids Night is the best! They had the Easter Bunny and big sister refused to even glance his way, but these two loved it!

Easter Sunday was cold and rainy this year. We decided to attend the church on our street instead of heading downtown, and we enjoyed the service. These girls were awake at 3:00 IN THE MORNING to see if the Easter Bunny had come. 3:00 AM. Not cool. We sent them back to bed but it was a rocky morning from there and I was ready for bed after lunch. Luckily the sun came out in the afternoon and we were able to take a long family walk to carry us through.

That's all for now.
Just 5 more weeks of school!!!
