Schitts Creek Family Halloween Costume

Ew, David.
Happy Halloween from The Roses!
I'm surprised the show hasn't peaked mainstream popularity yet, but if you haven't watched I would definitely recommend it!  K and I have a hard time agreeing on TV and we both think it's great.
In case you have no idea who we're referencing:

Halloween Fun

 We had a fun night out at the Aquarium's Fish or Treat last week.

 We also visited Boone Hall's pumpkin patch and rode the hayride twice!

Trunk or Treat down the street:
I'll share our family's costume tomorrow!

Tuesday Talk

 Hey, how's the week going?  Yesterday was beautiful and today it's so humid I feel like I'm swimming through the air. Ugh.  Anyway, here's what's up:

We are getting excited for some Halloween fun!  EB and I stuffed and hung these bags in the palm tree in the front yard over the weekend.
--
Oh my gourd!  This was a fun craft at the library last week:
--
Sweet details at church:
--
We had a fish fry with my parents this past Sunday.  The cod nuggets were so good!
--
I subbed this in for our usual chorizo taco night and it was really good.  I think I will use it every time we make them.
 --
Costco find!  I love this beer on a fall Friday night.
--
That's all folks,
Have a good rest of the week!

Friday Highfive

Oh hi!
Here is a highfive for making it through the week!
--
{1}
K and I were watching home videos the other night and started getting SO excited about Christmas this year.  I am starting to keep an eye out for gift ideas while I'm out and I think EB would love this ballerina jewelry box.  I think she is finally getting past the destructive phase (aka trying to figure out how the ballerina spins and breaking it within 5 minutes of opening it) so it will be fun to pick out gifts for her this year.
--
{2}
I ordered these hoes from Belk the other day.  They didn't have my size in store but they were on clearance and I figure the zebra can act as a neutral.  I did a major closet clean out last week and I've realized how old the majority of my clothes/shoes are.  I decided it was time to buy a few new things and retire the maternity...(for now?!  still not 100% decided on that).

--
{3}
Scarecrow on the Square!  This is the cutest annual event in downtown Summerville.

--
{4}
Watched this doc the other night.  It was good!
--
{5}
Amen!
Sometimes I imagine K thinks a little fairy flies around making sure our household runs smoothly.
But It's me!

Have a great weekend!

Life Lately

Happy Monday!
This weekend we attended Oktoberfest at our church, one of my favorite family events of the year!

 I found my brick on King St at Second Sunday:
I finished this book on the back porch during nap time yesterday.  It was good!
 We got our pumpkin and pulled out the bats:
Speaking of pumpkins, we visited the pumpkin patch and this collage is a comparison of this year to last.  What an incredible change!

Planning some more Fall fun this week.  Have a good one!

EB is THREE!

EB's third birthday party was full of unicorns and rainbows.  While I didn't manage to get pictures during the party, I made sure to take a few beforehand.
EB has been very excited about this party for weeks and it was a thrill to finally celebrate!
 EB, We love you so much!  You are the best big sister, silliest sweetest most beautiful girl in the world!  You have defined my life, making me a mom and my most true self.  YOU ARE MAGICAL.

Friday Highfive

{1}
I've been missing in these parts the past couple of weeks.  We had a tragic death in the family, my young cousin, and I've been processing that...We were able to celebrate Sullivan's life over at Alhambra Hall this past Wednesday and it brought me a sense of peace.

--
{2}
On an upbeat note, EB turned THREE yesterday and we are celebrating this weekend.  I'll share a full recap of the fun next week.  But here's a peek of the goodie bags I put together.
--
{3}
Shrinky Dinks!  I think I was more excited about this library activity than she was.
We made the tiny pospsicle into a necklace!
 --
{4}
MB turned 3 months last Sunday.  She is such a dream come true.  I hope to put together a post all about my experience with the fourth trimester this time around, and going from 1 to 2 children, soon!
--
{5}
Bring on the Halloween festivities.  We've got a lot of FUN coming up and I'll try to keep things up to date around here.
--
Have a great weekend!
