Lately

 Saturday I was able to sneak away to the Woodhouse Spa down at Westedge.  It was so beautiful and relaxing.  I preffered the downtown location to the one in Mount Pleasant, the waiting areas were more intimate and private.
Yesterday we had a morning out on the town with little sis.  We ran around Marion Square and had an early lunch.  It's crazy to think that both SEWE and Food and Wine are cancelled this year.  The field will sit empty with exception of the rubble of the Calhoun statue.  What a world!

I finished this book over the weekend and it is a new favorite:

Playing together!  Praise hands.
Last up, we've got a family wedding approaching and I have two flower girls!  I think I am going to buy these dresses but still need to confirm with the bride.  They remind me so much of Pippa Middleton's wedding,  with a baby's breath crown...how sweet.
That's all I got!

Friday Highfive

 Happy Friday!  Here is a highfive for making it through the week..

{1}

If it feels like it's been quiet around here it's because I have been in organization/purge mode since last weekend.  We took down Christmas and I decided to tackle the girls' rooms.  We rearranged EB's room to accommodate new toys and I am still working on sorting clothing sizes for storage in the attic.

Another "New Year" sort of thing I've implemented is a retinol cream and this lash growth serum.  Since recently turning 35 I've decided to put a little more effort into my skincare routine.
--
I made a veggie flatbread for dinner Friday night.  It has a cream cheese base but I think next time I will try a garlic alfredo...

3 weeks from today we will be at DISNEY!!!
I am making a paper chain so that EB can start counting down the days.  Needless to say, we are excited!

Look at this little mini me!!  We just have the best time while big sis is at school.

Have a great weekend!

Best Books of 2020

When thinking of a way to reflect on 2020, I kept thinking about  my love of reading and how big of a role it has played for me this past year.  Losing the libraries to COVID has been one of the hardest parts for me.  I started using the Overdrive app immediately upon shutdown, and I have read over 100 books since.  In a year of such intense anxiety every where you turn, books have never been a bigger outlet for me.  Here are 20 of my favorite reads of 2020!
