Real World Romance

Flowers, love 'em!
Chocolates, Yum!
But the most special surprise I've yet to receive from my man was waiting for me upon returning home Sunday afternoon:
A new washer installed and ready to go!
Ours had been on the outs for a couple weeks, leaving clothes really wet, but with everything going on lately it really wasn't at the top of my list.
Real World Romance...
Love means taking some of the load (hehehe, laundry, load, get it?) off the ones who mean the most.

Also, here's this week's menu:

How's your Tuesday goin'?

Peaceful Pit Stop: Old Sheldon Church Ruins

To say I'm exhausted from this weekend is a major understatement.
I basically have no voice and 2 swollen ankles/feet.
Rather than re-hash the craziness right now, I thought I would share a quick stop we made on our way to Tybee.
When K and I visited Beaufort last month, I was hoping we would get a chance to see the Old Sheldon Church Ruins.  We were planning to stop by, but it ended up pouring and we weren't able to do it during that trip.
Leaving Charleston last Thursday it occurred to me that I would actually be driving right past the road off Hwy 17.  I made sure my copilot was okay with a quick detour (she was) and I was able to get a few beautiful pictures.

It's literally 2 minutes off of Highway 17 so if you find yourself heading towards Savannah I'll say it's a "must see".  There are picnic tables all around and I think it would be the perfect Roadtrip lunch stop.
Here is some history.
Have you ever visited the Old Sheldon Church Ruins?

Humpity Hump

It's a super short week over here, today is my Friiiiiiday!
I wanted to share an Etsy shop that I just adore with y'all.
It's called Tidewater Table.
Little Miss LZ makes these adorable napkins rings with oyster shells found in Charleston's waterways.
They are so pretty, even more so in person,
and she is selling them for an excellent price!
I am heading off to Tybee Island for the long weekend to celebrate my Choo's "last fling before the ring"!  I'll be sure take lots of pictures to share next week!
We are leaving mid-day tomorrow so I'm getting all my ducks in a row over here.
I hope you all have a safe and fabulous 4th of July with the ones you love!
P.S. As of last night, I'm a blondie :)
xoxo
