Quarantine Week 6

This past week, our sixth staying home, was the toughest on me yet.  I felt very down and bored with the monotony of our days.  I am going into this week with a better attitude!

 We reunited with family this weekend to celebrate Aunt T's engagement!  Such a beautiful day.

We are moving EB into a twin bed.  We bought an adorable bed frame, just waiting on the mattress and box spring to be delivered:

Quarantine Week 4

Last week was Week 4 of our quarantine.  Here are some snaps!

K and I played LIFE and it was very fun.  He was the police officer and took his speeding fines very seriously:

 I really wish this was a joke, but here's my new mask:

 We cut down the overgrown azaleas that were covering our front porch and now I want a whole re-do.  We are going to plant a palm in it's place.

 So grateful for beautiful days:

Easter 2020

We had a nice Easter at home.  It was sad to miss church (online just isn't the same} and family dinner but we made the most of it.  And now I've got a freezer full of ham.  Woohoo!

Quarantine Week 2

 We have been enjoying our long walks around the neighborhood.  The little dots you see in the pond are turtle heads that flock to the shore when you walk by.  

We look for fiddler crabs in the marsh daily.

Got our backyard waterpark set up.  I love this thing.  

I dyed my hair.  I almost blocked my face out in these photos because, how awkward, but I wanted to show the before and after. Honestly, it's so subtle to the point where you wouldn't recognize the change, but it covered my grays and gave a nice wash of color.  I also trimmed my ends which were in bad shape.
