We are heading out to Colorado this week so I'll be missing in action for a while!

We are SO excited to visit a new place, and to enjoy MUCH cooler temps for a few days.

Stir Crazy

Last Tuesday, Charleston shut down in anticipation of Hurricane Florence.  We were luckily spared from terrible weather, but cooped up with a toddler is a totally different kind of storm.

Labor Day Vacay 2018

We had a fantastic Labor Day Weekend down in the Sea Islands of SC.

We stayed in an area called Harbor Island and spent the holiday between the beach and the pool, with many golf cart rides between.

When we checked in on Friday we went straight to the pool.

It was our night to cook and we had cedar plank salmon, this pasta salad, and roasted asparagus.

On Saturday morning we hit the beach early in order to be back for Gamecocks football!

After the game, K and I were able to sneak away to a local dive bar for a beer (and hushpuppies!) without the babe...

...while EB enjoyed hanging at the pool with Opa.

On Sunday the guys had a 10:00 am Tee Time...

And the ladies (and babies) went into Beaufort for lunch and shops:

Later that night we had a Scavenger Hunt and honestly, this pic is just too funny not to share.  Needless to say, Team "Busch Light" did not take the win.

It was such a fun weekend and I even found this driftwood to bring back as a souvenir.

First Day of School...EVER!

Our precious girl attended her first day of school today.  Here are a few snaps from our Meet the Teachers morning...and today!

  

Her teachers said she ate all of her lunch and had a fantastic time singing and making animal sounds!

We are so so excited for everything this school year will bring.
