Two Weeks In

 I wish I had more time for an update, but I wanted to quickly share some photos from MC's first two weeks here at home.  

Briefly, I am finding adjusting to baby # 2 much easier than my experience as a first time mom.  It's a combination of knowledge and "every child is different", but we are finding our way faster this go around.  

This baby is calm and sweet and *SO FAR* very easy going.  I'm getting 3-4 hour stretches of sleep, breastfeeding is going very well (I'm already building a freezer supply) and my overall mindset is much less overwhelmed.

Four on the 4th

We had a fun 4th of July as a family of four!

We started the day with donuts and ended it with sparklers in the backyard.

We had my parents over for a cookout and enjoyed playtime with EB's neighbor BFF.  She even got to stay up late to watch some big fireworks!

And Then There Were Four...

We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter!

I was induced Saturday morning and she arrived *quickly* at 1:10 pm,

weighing 8 lbs even and measuring 20 inches long.

We are settling in at home with a very proud big sister.

I can't wait to share more soon!

I hope y'all have a very Happy Fourth of July...we'll be celebrating as a family of four!
