Things have been really really quiet for us lately, but I don't want to completely neglect the ole blog.

I'd say about 80% of our leisure time over the past month or so has been spent like this:

We've had our little "winter" here in Charleston and so, a couple weeks ago, my friend and I decided to mall walk in lieu of our usual downtown route. I swear, Citadel Mall gets weirder and weirder each time I visit. I spotted this Lunar Golf course in the old Finish Line location.

How was your Valentine's Day? K sent me flowers at work, such a wonderful surprise. The roses opened up beautifully and lasted around two weeks.

That same weekend my mom, aunts, and I threw my younger cousin a bridal shower.
We chose to use the cake decorating game from my bridal shower and it was a hit. I'm not a huge fan of cheesy shower games but sometimes you really need something to break the ice.

And this past weekend was my best friend Carrie's wedding! We had a
"flower party" last week to work on bouquets and centerpieces, which turned out beautiful.
Carrie bought all of her flowers from Trader Joe's for such a great cost.

Here's a snap from the rehearsal dinner last Friday.
My hair looks crazy asymmetrical in this shot for some reason.
Carrie's dress was Halston from Rent the Runway and I was in LOVE with it.
I found it
online and I'm already thinking of an occasion where I can rent it.
It was a beautiful weekend at The Lakehouse at Bulow.
